The problems associated with parking has improved with the new waiting area being provided on Broadway. However there are still those people who come into the area to pick up children who insist on parking half on the grass, damaging our verges. We are in the process of requesting the installation of bollards to protect the grass verges and have approached the Neighbourhood Board for funding. We will be meeting with the Board in the near future to make our case. We are aware that the City Council has at long last responded to our concerns about the Duffield Road Bus Lane which if the Lane is taken out some of the pressure on Broadway at the end of the school day could reduce, we can only hope. |
