Student Parking
We have had a number of meetings with the University and City Council and anticipate receiving formal proposals from them with the view to producing a long term strategy aimed at resolving most of the problems previously encountered.
Latest Update The Spring 2009 Newsletter and Survey, provides details of the proposals your committee has put forward to the City Council. We understand that Markeaton Park, will be made available to students during term time. Providing this does happen we believe the proposals we have put forward work well as a whole. Please do download the Newsletter and complete the Survey, we are keen to consult with all interested parties.
Some progress has been made in that Penny Long Lane is likely to become Access Only as is Bank View Road. The remainder is still open to negotiation. We will keep you informed.
