Advertising Consent

The owners of the Broadway Pub have made another retrospective application to retain two advertising signs and add a further illuminated box sign. These are those that currently remain on the Broadway elevation and the self-standing at the front of the building plus the introduction of one on the north elevation.

A previous application resulted in the Company being informed to remove the signs on the building as they were out of keeping with the building and local area. They were allowed to keep the sign remote from the building and invited to apply for its retention. We will not be objecting to this.

We will be objecting to the signs on the building on the basis that nothing has changed to materially affect the Council's previous position.
