Membership Renewal and New Members

Membership for the current year became payable on the 1 January 2012, new members and renewals are welcome at any point.  Please used the attached application form and return to the Chairman at 290 Broadway with your £2.00 subscription.

Advertising Consent Turned Down Again

The owners of the Broadway Pub made another retrospective application to retain one advertising sign and add two further illuminated box signs.  These were turned down by the Council when they met on 9th February.  Thank you once again for your support

We will ask the Council to ensure the remaining sign, for which there is no consent, is removed.

Parking Issues

Following the AGM we wrote to the Council asking that they consider Traffic Lights at the junction of Kedleston Road and Broadway following a motion being passed to prioritise this junction for attention.

We will also be seeking action outside St Mary's School, the Highfields Estate and improved controls for the Darley Park Concert.
